I am a big fan of origami... I do it as stress relief all the time. However, making my own creations, especially as geometrically complex as yours, seems extremely intimidating and difficult... I admire your talent and hope to see more!
To answer your questions, Tool would qualify as progressive rock/metal, although I'm not as big of a fan of their brand of it as of others (I tend to go for the stuff that ends up sounding like an Andrew Lloyd Weber musical on steroids).
Also, Dartmouth is in New Hampshire I believe... it's certainly not here in Vermont. There's not much here in Vermont to be honest... but it's a nice little place to be.
Anyways... I hope to see my little deviantwatch pop up with more impressive origami!

The letters and numbers "actually mean something" haha. I make these things when I'm bored, so there are may of them. The classification system is needed. My dog is named Pup, what do you expect.
Thank you for the welcome. I'm 24 years old and have been folding for a few years. I think of it as a way to pass time (it gives my hands something to do while I should be taking notes in class). I've sold a couple works on Ebay.
